Kling 4.0

Since Week 19 2026, when Kling Video 3.0 added a 4K mode: Kuaishou's Kling AI launched Kling 4.0 on 15 October, after a 4.0 Flash preview for top-tier annual subscribers from 28 September. According to the launch press release, the model generates up to 30 seconds natively in one pass, accepts prompts up to 8,000 tokens and up to 15 references (10 images, 5 videos, 7 subjects) with up to 10 keyframes, and works with Kling's MCP server and CLI so AI agents can drive it. The release lists 4K, 1080p, 21:9 ultrawide, 10-bit HDR, extensions up to two minutes and enterprise API access as coming later. Kling's own release notes render only with JavaScript, and coverage differs on the exact launch day.
