Claude Duet

A new Anthropic app, opened as a research preview on 21 October, in which Claude acts as a proactive agent built around Claude Opus 5.5. It sends a morning brief, checks connected apps every few hours, messages you when something needs attention and works on tasks in its own virtual machine and browser. It asks for approval before sending messages, paying, signing or deleting, and refuses some actions such as trading securities. A new classifier guards against leaking card numbers and ID data. It runs on iOS, Android and claude.ai, can use over 6,000 Marketplace connectors, and is included in Pro and Max plans by waitlist, starting in the US.
