An open-source system, at openrig.dev, for building lasting teams of coding agents from Claude Code, Codex and Pi. A lead agent you talk to hands work to specialist seats with roles, shared context and owned work, tracks it and reports back; agents message each other with rig send, queue work with rig queue, and a terminal UI shows the team. It needs Node 22 or 24 and tmux. Three releases this week, ending with v0.6.9 on 11 October, fixed Slack integration, messaging across hosts and seat restoration. Apache-2.0, 6,763 stars, 30 releases.
