Hex-Rays IDA MCP

The official, free and open-source MCP server from IDA's maker, letting AI agents disassemble and decompile with IDA 9.4 or later through idalib on the Pro, Home, Classroom and OEM editions. It uses a small code-mode toolset of database operations, IDAPython execution and API reference search, which Hex-Rays says uses about 20% fewer tokens than popular alternatives, self-reported. Built on IDA Nexus, it lets several agents and the IDA GUI work on one database at once. Installs through hcli or as plugins for Claude Code, Codex, Copilot CLI and Pi, over stdio or HTTP.
