Spark-X2.6-1.7B

Spark-X2.6-1.7B is a compact, general-purpose language model from XHToken, aimed at on-device deployment. It is the second model in the Spark-X2.6 series, after Spark-X2.6-4B. It keeps exactly the same architecture as Spark-X2.5-1.7B, and the changes come from improved post-training. The developers report gains in coding, agentic use, long-context work, multilingual use and reasoning. They also claim leading decoding throughput among similarly sized open models, including Qwen3.5-2B, MiniCPM-2B and LFM2.5-2.6B, with their optimised llama.cpp fork widening the gap on an RTX 4090. The page gives no benchmark figures, so these claims are the developers' own and cannot be checked from it. Three thinking levels (none, low, high) let applications trade reasoning quality against latency and cost. The weights are on Hugging Face under Apache-2.0 in Transformers format, created 19 October 2026, with English and Chinese listed. The model card includes quickstarts for Transformers, SGLang and vLLM, with an SGLang example configured for a 1,048,576-token context.
