Gemini 4 Carbon

Gemini 4 Carbon is a new frontier model from Google DeepMind, announced on 28 October 2026 and following Gemini 4 Argon, which launched two weeks earlier. Google says it ranks #1 on v5.0 of the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index with a score of 59, and reaches #4 on WebDev Arena (1768, up 89 Elo points). On external cybersecurity benchmarks, evaluated without guardrails, it scores 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro, 54.8% on ExploitGym and 71.0% on CWE-bench. Google also reports that it cut successful cheating on Terminal-Bench 4.0 to 0.0% and reached a 0.0% attack success rate on Gray Swan's Indirect Prompt Injection benchmark. It is designed for long-horizon agentic engineering work, and Google says internal teams saw it run for days on tasks such as root-causing and patching bugs in large codebases. Access is limited for now: a subset of cyber defenders can use it this week, with more trusted partners added through the Fairwind Program, and wider availability to developers, businesses and consumers is planned. The introductory price is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, rising to $4 and $20 after the introductory period.
