sand3d is an Apache-2.0 Python library for writing 3D objects as short programs over Blender's bpy, built so that LLMs can generate them in few tokens and people can read them. The maintainers report that a part takes 2 to 6 times fewer tokens than the same part in Blender Python, CadQuery or FeatureScript, and that the full API fits in roughly 3,600 tokens for a system prompt. Output can be exported as GLB, URDF, USDA, OBJ or STL, and a Hugging Face dataset collection is linked.
