The author says Claude built 18 effects from a 5-second clip, each rendering in 10 seconds to about 5 minutes on his Mac. Two did not work: the clone effect and the vertigo zoom. Given a 60+ minute episode and its transcript, Claude picked a 40-second moment in 2 minutes using 8 of its 60 tool calls, and one more command produced 3 shorts. The author would still choose hooks himself, as one was an unreadable screen share at 9:16. In one technique, he speaks notes to Claude while recording, Whisper adds them to the transcript, and Claude reads the whole thing. He says the post gives everything needed to build the same setup for free, including editing skills. The results are the author's own, not a formal evaluation.
