Since Week 27 2025: the project moved from the hwchase17 account to the langchain-ai org and has kept shipping, with 0.7.11 plus companion packages deepagents-code, deepagents-acp and deepagents-talon all bumped in the final days of August. A batteries-included agent harness on LangGraph where every component can be overridden: sub-agent delegation with isolated context windows, local, sandboxed or remote filesystem access, sandboxed shell execution, automatic context summarisation, cross-session memory and human-in-the-loop approval. MIT, 28.7k stars. No major version — this is steady point-release work, not a relaunch.
