TrenTorch · ML practice problems

TrenTorch

TrenTorch is a free website of ML practice problems in which users write the code for machine learning components themselves. It lists 1647 problems across 12 learning modules, running from linear algebra and classical ML to LLM post-training, inference and kernels. Each problem has a theory write-up and asks for the real signature of the corresponding torch.nn.functional function, such as cross-entropy or layer norm. Submissions are run against a hidden test suite that includes edge cases and mutation tests, with some checked against offline PyTorch output. There is also a Problem of the Day with streaks and ratings. The site says it is free, does not sell user data, and is funded by sponsors and donations, with hosting from Vercel and Mintlify. It mentions a CLI and open-source work by the same maintainers, but gives no licence, version or release date.
