AI Floods the Book Market
Tracking 14,419 self-published Amazon genre-fiction titles (2023-2026) against sales data through June 2026, the paper finds AI-heavy titles taking more of the scarce bestseller ranks while revenue per selling book fell: selling titles grew 19x but quarterly revenue only 9x.
